The term chapbook originates from the Early Modern period in England, where peddlers called chapmen sold small books or pamphlets containing various types of writing by authors of the day.

A Gauntlet Press chapbook is best described as a pamphlet-type publication consisting of previously unpublished short stories (and the occasional non-fiction piece) that a Gauntlet author has provided us to help promote his/her signed limited edition. The chapbooks generally range from 8 to 32 pages in length and are stapled in such a manner as a magazine.

The chapbooks are pictured on this page and cost $10 apiece. CHOOSE YOUR CHAPBOOK NOW, then place your order and you’ll receive the chapbook you chose as long as it meets these easy requirements. These chapbooks are ONLY available through Gauntlet.
